Being positive and assuming that the much discussed feature has been overcome, what is the consensus regarding this being overcome..?
I have been lucky so far with cars not developing bubbles, but will be buying again soon and wondering if Gaydon paint processes have now overcome the issue.

A colleague of mine has a Jan 2012 V8 Vantage Coupe (MY12.5) and his car developed a Paint Bubble in the classic driver door lock area, repaired July 2013 just after my car was repaired in June 2013.
Mine is a Nov 2007 (MY 2008) and was repaired for Paint Bubbles on both the doors, documented here.

Correct.

The processes are getting better by the MY but I'm sure even Grant would not put his mortgage against a perfect finish nono

Oh well some features it seems are here to stay, even on the new V12s?
Vanquish in the other hand with its carbon fibre panels has taken the bubble inspiration to its optional interior with those seats.

Is there a time frame beyond which, if the paint hasn't bubbled, one can be fairly confident that it won't? Are we still seeing early cars' paint start bubbling now?
