Generic lease deal questions
Discussion
I get the basics, but having never done it have a few more questions.
1. can you negotiate on the prices you see on the web?
2. Where does the car actually come from. Through BMW dealer or delivered to your house via lease company?
3. Do you pay initial installment when car arrives or when order is placed?
4. Typically how sensitive is price to spec and mileage?
5. If you up to 3 years does price come down?
6. What happens after the term is up. Does someone pick it up and take it away?
7. Can you buy from lease company at end?
8. Who owns car on v5?
9. Are they meticulous in making you pay for stonechips, kurbed wheels etc?
10. What's a typical excess mileage charge?
11. Do you pay servicing, tyres etc and must it have minimum tread upon return?
Lots of questions, please answer any if you have experience and can be bothered.
Cheers

1. IME, no. Others may be more successful than me!
2. Via Dealer.
3. Usually sometime between the two. Mine was about a month before delivery (2 month lead time).
