Incident 1:
Long straight road, perfect visibility, ambulance coming up the road all lighted up and sirens blaring. We all pull over, but one idiot decides he is more important than the ambulance and pulls across it's path and directly in front of it.
Incident 1a:
Despite hazards on, a guy in a fiesta in the opposite lane (so the ambulance was approaching from his front) with his child in the front locks up his brakes as he didn't realise everyone had stopped moving or even seen the ambulance (there is a long hill so he was looking down) - about 30 cm away from impact
Incident 1b:
With my hazards flashing and the ambulance now just gone past, i look in my mirror and some t
t in an audi decides they will try and overtake me as i must be parked up.
Incident 2:
Some old bloke in a small car is driving very slowly and eventually ends up at a bus stop where a bus was pulled in allowing passengers off. The guy behind frustrated as the old bloke doesn't overtake, tried an overtake on a blind corner by going around both the car and the bus, but is now sitting in the oncoming lane as he had to turn right out as he was so close to the car in front.
Car comes around the corner and has to brake very sharply - i actually braced on his behalf for a frontal impact.
Incident 3:
On a ring road, car is in the right lane and i'm in the left, he is swerving about and then decides he wants to be in the left lane. Nearly takes my front end off and i gave him a beep. Thought maybe he was panicking that he was about to miss his turning, but no he carries on for another 3 junctions.
Incident 4:
Now this is the worse one today, parked my car up in a major shopping centre and walking to the shops with my lad. Waiting at a zebra crossing, which is raised like a speed hump...women comes from left hand lane, swings right across the zebra crossing and is actually turning into it in essences, nearly hits me and my lad and flys off the kerb and into the parking area.
She then parks up like nothing has happened.
I walked over and she apologised and said she didn't realise that was a zebra crossing and that the parking area was to be accessed from the next road down.
Seriously, i wish i could deploy a bit of vigilante justice with a baseball bat...
