I'm meeting my sister in Harrogate for lunch tomorrow as she is at a conference there. My knowledge of Restaurants extends no further than the famous tea room. Can anybody recommend a good but reasonably priced lunch venue.
My helpful Prof I share an office with has pointed me to Sasso or Chez La Vie.

Loads of options.

Bar & Grill - about 30 yards from conference centre. Ok food.

Wagamama - I go here about twice a week to sate my katsu cravings.

Hotel du Vin - 5 minute walk from Conf centre. Same price as Bar & Grill but much better food.

If you want a specific kind of food most are catered for. I'm particularly fond on the new Turkish which is absolutely superb but a little lacking in atmosphere. The mixed meze more than makes up for that though.

Chez la Vie is superb, five or six mins walk from Betty's. Excellent food and a good lunch time fixed price menu. We were there Friday evening and had a superb meal.

Also Tanning Level in town centre is definitely worth a look.
