Reunited with an old Herald

Ok so theres another classic in my fleet to keep the MGB company, funnily enough I have owned this one before. First picture shows it 10 years ago when I was tipped off that there was a Herald in a scrapyard local to Me. I went and had a look & decided it was saveable, missing a few parts ie interior, front valance and looked very shabby however it was solid in the right places. So I dragged it home, presented some flowers to the girlfriend and then unveiled this to the look of shock & horror. She christened it 'The Heap' :
It took a couple of months to get the said missing bits, running & MOT'd and make it 'presentable'.
Turn the clock forward 10 years to last week and up it pops on ebay! I thought sod it I will have a punt at that so after a few beers yesterday I bid & then went to bed! Imagine my suprise to realise that when I opened my emails this morning I had won it!! Now my girlfriend 10 years ago who I gave the flowers too as an apology for bringing said 'Heap' home is now to be my wife next June & I think its fitting that the Herald is to be used as our wedding car! She is happy with it this time & I'm sure you agree it looks a lot better than it did when I purcahsed it 1st time round. Here it is :

Didn't have it long, maybe a few months and yes I sold it in unrestored condition. To be honest I was just glad that I rescued it from the crusher. The current owner has spent a lot of time & money on it and its got a few sensible upgrades now. I'm really pleased to be getting it back!

The latter I wouldn't bank on ... so give it up and get on the 944 hunt.
It's not been taxed since I exchanged it for my TR6. It was in very good condition then, generally. Thing is I could swing that particular GT6, it being our wedding car, but if I tried to introduce a 944/968 into my little automotive menagerie she'd go spare.The latter I wouldn't bank on ... so give it up and get on the 944 hunt.
