apart from a few other bits n bobs, my jeep has failed on the nearside track arm thing. i guess this is a big job with compression tools ect ect, no?

The track arms are reasonable straight forward to do with an average toolset.
Providing the bolt that the arm is held onto the Escort crossmember by has not seized in or become worn.

You will require a heavy duty piece of rope or strop to make a loop which will hold the anti roll bar in tension (making removal and fitting of the arm easier) .

Your will also need a ball joint splitter to release the ball joint at the strut end.
