Got a nice pick up at the weekend a full manifold and plenum with all the bits and bobs
It's from a 3.9 rr or lr
So the question is what's the difference in size between the 400 and 500 manifold inlets the Trumpets are 40 mm in the RR one I have

The plenum top is going to be a spacer of around 10/15 mm after it's been in the miller ( cut from the bottom of the plenum top)
If is st it can go in the scrap bin

+ can any one tell me where to get some injectors cleaned
Thanks Peter

I've used this chap for injector cleaning a few times. My customers tend to clog up their boat engine injectors with water quite often!

Ps. I've just bought the carbon superflare trumpets from ACT. I've fitted them but not put the car back together yet so don't know what it's like yet!

Hi Peter, great minds must surely think alike I have done exactly this ( re the spacer) I was after max. Volume so I had one side of the spacer welded where it starts to radius then threaded the holes in the spacer so I could bolt it to a face plate without anything protruding and then faced it down to 20mm. As you can see I don't think you could go much higher without bonnet issues. the bore size of the 5l trumpets is 44mm.

You could get a die grinder and make your own intake mods?

Watch out for cleaning injectors. When you clean the injectors mount them directly. The engine have to run in a 4 hours.
Running later there can be left some cleaning material in the injectors and the will not working good and a possebilaty of leaking.
