Been offered a new C63 with the following spec:

Reversing Camera
Telephone Pre Wire
AMG Differential Lock
Black Ash Trim
19” Black AMG Alloys
Harman Kardon Surround Sound
AMG Performance Pack

Deal (PCP) is £2k down, 24 months @ £950, 10k miles per annum.

Does this feel about right, my gut feeling is it's about £100 per month too much, don't ask me why!

Need to move quick on this so any replies gratefully received...

Cheers

Regular but brand new, PP+ and LSD worked out about £7k in options alone though...

I don't want a 507 edition and this is one of the last new "old" models with PP+/etc that are now obviously discontinued and no longer options.

The best quote I had previously was a shade under £650 on a 3+23 basis for a standard car specced to how I wanted it (this was before the Q4 price increase).

So, in effect an extra £300 per month over 2 years will cost £7,200 which pays for the PP+ and LSD in full.

I'm confused.

Standard cars are being advertised for between £650 and £750 on PCP with a 3 + 23 profile (just a quick look not a detailed search mind), the PP+ and LSD will not be worth a premium at resale time hence the full cost is being charged over the lease period.

In my experience with Leases and PCPs, you have to 'buy' the extras, as come trade-in time their residual value becomes a 'so what' option!
So the £300 extra a month is perhaps right (unfortunately!)

Sadly I think you're right, a real pity as the car is perfect for me (but not at £950 per month!)

PP+ is the only option which has a residual value - in my case £2000 after 3 years on a PCP.

Seems very steep. I'm paying <£600 pcm for a standard (no options except Harmon Kardon) C63 Saloon (with 3 months deposit). From memory the performance pack was only about another £50 pm (which suggests PP adds signficantly to the residual).

I pay 650pm inc vat 3+23 for a C63 coupe with the following options

Pearlescent white
Harmon Kardon
Black AMG alloys
Illuminated door sills
Reversing camera

This is direct from Mercedes

I think a bog standard car with no spec was around £500ppm

Are there really deals available on new C63's for around £500/month including VAT with only 3 months deposit? Would have thought even a standard car would be closer to £600/month but would be delighted to be proved wrong!

So by my calcs that's just over £14k for 2 years use out of an M5.

Surely that's less than your expected to loose in the first year of ownership alone!

Does anyone buy private these days?
