GMT Master II 116710BLNR
Discussion
I called Rolex in London about a month ago asking whether I could give them my GMT 2C and have the half blue bezel fitted along with the blue GMT hand and the answer was "no because your watch is a stand alone model"
I understand that it could look like I was trying to make my watch appear to be newer than it actually is BUT what an odd answer I thought!
I did question it more than once and pointed out how easy it would be for them to do but still got the same answer back!
Not even at a ridiculous price, just "no, because your watch is a stand alone model"
KAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll get that from all the high end manufacturers. I tried to get Cartier to supply a particular watch on a bracelet instead of a strap, the answer was "no, that is not one of our creations". It was delivered with the tone of, "this isn't fI understand that it could look like I was trying to make my watch appear to be newer than it actually is BUT what an odd answer I thought!

king Halfords, now don't let the door hit you on the way out".I have a BLNR. Traded my all black bezelled 2002 GMT2 in for it.
Lovely thing. good weight on the wrist although I do find the shoulders a little sharp sometimes.
The blue colour changes depending on the light and is not as light in real life as in photo's. But I do like the hue of the blue and the matching GMT hand.
I took a couple of pictures of mine - one with a flash and one without to compare the colours.

got one a few weeks ago and trying to make it a daily to see if I am struck on it. the blue/black is actually a bit too subtle for me and sort of defeats the object of the bicolour bezel.
might have mentioned this about 100 times before, but i still really miss my Pepsi and would advise you to have a look at that seriously if you have a thing for the bicolour bezel. a second hand black ceramic makes for much better value as you get one for early 4's, whereas this is going list+.
all marketing photos give the impression of a really strong constrast between the blue and black; on the wrist that just isn't the case. I'd bought it unseen having tried on a ceramic GMTII for the size and as per usual got a little giddy when the shiny was passed to me. subsequently i'm a little 'meh' about it, although as a watch the ceramic Rolex is very comfortable so will probably stay.

Like you I have wanted one for a while,i was even going to sell the Sub and then replace it with a GMT but I just could not part with my Sub its so comfortable to wear. Anyway I did something about my aching and now I am waiting for this on Friday

Its the only color for me and its a 1990 which fits perfectly with my Sub

Will you please stop posting this; I have enough to contend with without dealing with the temptation of this one too!

That is lovely, many congratulations!
How interchangeable are the bezel's on GMT's? Can you fir a blue/black, black or Pepsi on any watch?

Easily interchangeable, so the colour choice can be yours depending on mood. I have Black/red GMT with all black alternative bezel. Liking the Blue/black too so may get one of those.
