Don't want to count my chickens too soon but I think she is now fixed biggrin

A new vaccum pipe from plenum to fuel pressure regulator hopefully has cured it, and it cost 49p !!!!!!

In trying to fix the running problems she had new plugs/cts/dizzy cap and rotor arm (good old scatter gun approcah smile ) and still she was running poorly. The fuel consumption was noticeably a lot higher and when accelerating she had this new rasping sound !!! eek I am guessing this was all due to a split vaccum pipe at both ends which would not be doing the correct job of moving the spring in the fuel pressure regulator properly etc. !!!

When for quite a long drive this morning and she was running lovely, her old exhaust note returned and she is now less thirsty biggrin

Thats all good mate but please address the leaking fuel issue…I don't have to tell you how flammable fuel is!…This could also have an effect on fuel pressure at load…Causing certain issues..Until you get a gauge to check the fuel pressure then you could be pumping more into the V of the engine…Please…Get it checked and sorted mate…Ziga

The price must be £7 then - £1 for the car and £6 to cover the price of the jetwash ;^)

Nice one - good job you didn't fit carbs then...

Must be a few quid extra for the fact that the roof/windows don't leak?

Looking good though.
