Just wondered what's happened to John Gill's...
I bought a new Morgan from them, back in 2006, and the business appeared to be in good shape with lots of nice cars in the showroom and outside on the lot etc....
Also, they had just taken on the Mercedes servicing francise......
When I drove past last year, most of the signage had been removed and the place looked very run down.
Now I see plans have been approved to demolish the showroom and turn it into a SPAR convenience business......
Great shame, because not that long ago they also had branches in York and Harrogate in addition to Bedale.
