A used 435 cam with only 53K on it and only £110.. thats more than a new one!

Hey Luna, you are missing the point here; drop out the back 2 pistons and you have less drag, what do you need lobes at the back for anyway!!!!

Evening Beaver,

Few bits of luck, good and bad, long story short. Rob at v8d built me 2nd hand newly tophatted crossbolted block, and 2nd hand crank, all built with new pistons and stealth cam.
no rush so new year we should be making noise :-)
Will see where I am after all that and fingers crossed I can keep her!

Glad you are making progress with the rebuild. Reading this reminded me of Cadwell in September. I will be on track at Snetterton with 9 other TVRs in just over two hours. Hope you get your car fixed in time for the 2014 track day season.
