Anyone have any suggestions. My car has taken to opening its doors whilst I'm driving along. Worst one was this afternoon when the passenger door popped itself open and swung right out over the footpath. I was in traffic and doing about 25MPH. I just managed to avoid a lamppost before pulling over to close it.

100 yards up the road the driver's door did it (managed to catch it before left hand bend!).

Only known this once on ours, it was to do with the solenoid not traveling through sufficient distance and was a mild pain in the arris to fix.

Would the central locking button help?

This has happened to me a couple of times and I found it was the door opener on the centre console not returning to its central position after use.

Stronger spring required? Or a touch of lubrication around the knob or cables?
