Thought I'd share pics of my new 'Stang. 2014 model, 5 litre V8, manual. Bit of a brute, not exactly subtle, but great fun with a simply awesome soundtrack. Cheers.

Lots of people poo-hoo the V6. Don't believe a word of it. It is very quick and has a very nice sound all of its own. I went for the V8 mainly due to the fact that petrol is so cheap here in Dubai - prob the only chance I'll have for carefree V8 ownership.

I had a blue v6 (2014 model) when i was in California in May as a rental for a couple of weeks.. I'd love a V8 in the UK, but it'd be crippling on fuel.

one feature i really like about the 2014 is the rear lights

Thanks Hooli. I've been mulling this over for a few years. I couldn't find a car I really wanted except this, but I was unsure about the slightly excessive nature of the V8. I'm glad I did it now though - every squirt of the throttle brings a smile to my face. That's what the car is all about I think - the sound it makes is very addictive.

The V6 hits 60 in the 5s and gets 30mpg US on the highway so that's 35 UK on a run.

Springs - but I don't know how much longer we'll be there as my landlord served notice on us today. I think property is going to be a bumpy ride for a while.

Very nice. Father in Law lived in Arabian Ranches, moved to the Golf Estates past Motor City a while ago after similar Landlord shenanigans.
