Your local motor factors - I would recommend GKN brand made in Japan.

Lots of rubbish out there so I would only buy from a reputable source. I bought my last ones from GKN Driveline (who now own Hardy Spicer). Cheers Steve

700 miles eek average 3000 on a set! Replace with Hardy Spicer all day. When you fit them grease them before the go on the car. Then do at annual service, yours could have. Blocked nipple so replace 50p although it's probably toast if ran dry!

Sometimes the UJ's are installed incorrectly and then you can't get the grease gun on fully and it's difficult to get the grease into the UJ. Cheers Steve

The grease is only coming out of one cap and nothing out of the others !

I wouldn't worry especially on new ones it comes out of the path of least resistance.

You know that the grease is all in the spider now and will migrate to all the caps under centrifugal force.

Thought the larger type HS179 (have those on my 350i) is the same as jaguar xj/xjs UJs. Isn't it?
Last time I asked in Belgium, it was difficult to order them over the counter with whatever car or reference.
And they source me special stuff. Must be Belgium then.

Surely with the number of online suppliers, Ebay sellers etc. you must be able to get stuff easier than that?
Trade within Europe is supposed to be super-easy these days... I bought Nursy a garden bench that came all the way from an Ebay seller in Germany for less than I could buy it here in the UK.
