Think we should put a Chim team together. TVR returns...... What could be better? I've got a spare 500 quid to get us started...

Who's up for it???

See, QBee is on the same wavelength...

Maybe not Le Mans (OK, I admit it, a bit ambitious) but a race team would be a whole lotta fun smile

Buy a Wedge, stick a 4.2 litre Audi diesel engine in it, 35mpg with 450 bhp and 550 torques. Simples.....
Alex can install the engine for us, he's an expert.

There's a plan. Just need a stripe, orange wheels, big brakes, slicks, a roll cage, Elise seats, .......... And it will be ready!

Much as it pains me to say it; I expect the goal is to finish.
Don't get wrong on this, I love Cerberas, and I would give anything (except my Chimaera) to have a decent late model 4.5, (and fully intend to have one as soon as possible) but reliability on the Cerb is; well, lets face it, notoriously 'TVR like'.

Anyway, this is the Chimaera forum. What you doing here? biggrin

The biggest problem you'll have (apart from keeping the car from breaking down) is that to get an invite to race at Le Mans you'll have to have a proven success at Gt racing in another race series somewhere. Ideally one of the Le Mans series races. Is not like the ring where you can enter a 10 year old 330d and turn up with some stickers on it.

Just stalking;-)

I have to take issue with your reliability comment however.

That's the third ageist remark in as many days now Daz. Think triple plenum before you make another one wink
