Lamb and Pork stock
Discussion
I need to source lamb and pork stock for a couple of recipes (cubes will be fine to start off i guess). The problem that I have is that neither of them are that common but worse than that I need them for ethnic recipes and those that I can find have rosemary and the like in the lamb and sage etc in the pork which I don't want at all. So, does anyone know of anywhere you can source both stocks in ready made, cubes, bullion or any other way that don't contain western herbs?

Available in my local Tescos. However it mentions subtle herbs and spices on the website. I have used the chicken and beef versions and they do not seem too far from the pure meat flavour. I would have tought if you are using them for 'foreign' food the flavour you add should dominate over anything in the cube.
Otherwise you will have to get some bones from the butcher and make your own. Tell him they are for the dog and you might even get them free.

I tell the butcher I want them for stock, and they're still free!
Although I usually buy something from him at the same time
Made some beef and lamb stock on Saturday just this way. Took half a day from start to finish using a pressure cooker. Easiest way to make sure you know what's actually in the stock.
