upgrades and power

after a good few years of owning a 2.5 have decided due to a few failures to up the power a bit its been to urban racing few years back and had cat back exhaust bigger fuel pump and lsd. the manifolds and turbos now need to be replaced so going for gt 25 and also new omex ecu as the car still has the original on it . just a bit of advice really what sort of power gain would i manage to achieve with these mods and would it be a noticeable difference to drive ? also it still has original intercooler would it be worth upgrading at later date as looks as though the ecu tubos etc is going to put a big dent in my pocket

When you did the LSD did you get your box upgraded.Suggest you also uprate valve springs and re new stem seals.
I blew my engine at 375bhp (we are not sure if it was actually the power though that did it).
I suggest that's your limit until you uprate internals.
You can do IC later.
I would also suggest that you use two boost controllers linked together and have each fitted as close to the turbo as possible.
I get boost spikes and have found by speaking to other owners that having two controllers close to the turbos keeps it all reacting correctly. The current set up has long pipes from each turbo going to one controller so this length of pipe work creates a lag in the boost correction.
Please can you try to get the exact model of turbos you are going to use as I will be getting some next year and I might be able to get a better deal than from the current sources.

thanks for that the gearbox wasn't strengthened at the time so is it still good for a bit more hp and torque .not sure exact model of turbos spoke to universal few weeks back and was thinking might aswell go for them now as long as there not overkill to whats achievable with standard internals and box the car at mo is with ray west in hampshire just looking to get it to a safe level and then maybe eventually getting the engine sorted

I wouldn't go above 380 and keep torque no higher than that also. When you get the turbos cane you get some pics and pics of any markings. Would be a great help.
I have a spread sheet with all my costs for upgrades this includes costs of parts u will need for the stage u are doing.
