If you dont like it .....
Discussion
I tried to have a meeting with my Manager about a few issues regarding the job, and offered examples of how I think things could be changed for the better from my side and point of view,
I was ultimatly told "If you dont like it then dont work here".
Its left me in a predicament, I dont mind the job itself, its local, the hours are conveniant and theres a few perks from the customers,
But should I go above my manager to the family owners and maybe cause a bigger issue? Or go look for work elsewhere?

Don't panic. In about 6 months your manager will have some great idea, which will be very familiar....
I may be being hasty, but today was a bad day, prob the worst.Got a b
king off 1 supervisor for doing what the other supervisor told me to do, then got a blame for a component failure, ontop of serial running about and meeting myself coming back to cover office errors,This was all mentioned to my manager, and I emphasised on the lack of communication between the 3 of them in the office.
Family run businesses have a culture that needs understanding. If you feel you're a strategic fit (a key component of job suitability), then continue to develop positive and open relationships with all. If you feel you're not a fit for whatever reason and cannot reconcile what is going on around you with your own values and standards, then it may be worth considering your options. Good luck!
