Anyone else out and about today ?

The weather here was cool but not cold, a few showers, and a bit breezy, nothing you wouldn't expect for November.

An hourish journey from Worcester to Aylesbury took the best part of four hours, as the police closed the M40 from about 6am until 1pm,causing absolute chaos as usual, and then just reports of accident with road closed all over the place, even down to the south coast.

A34 closed too today.

Actually this week has been utterly terrible for accidents /sun glare and general mad congestion for no apparent reason.

Yup, and misted up windows that people don't clear properly.

Took me 10 mins this morning scraping and waiting for the screen and side windows to clear but I did see some cars go by with peep holes on the front screen!!!

Think I'll be buying the screen cover from Costco £14 never get any ice - ill probably save that on fuel alone in a very short time v8 burbling away.

I thought my 4 hours from lichfield to Witney was bad. Took an hour and a half to cross the m40 at junction 15 because the roundabout was gridlocked.

Throw an old towel over the windscreen instead, save the 14 quid for petrol money!

Volvo on full defrost on the drive for 5 minutes, then drive away. You still have to remember it is tank commander season though. Worst offenders seem to be older women with a blonde rinse in small cars, Kia to Corsa.

Quick clear that was a god send cleared in no time though is wager there is more engine wear from driving round with cold engine than those with st heaters they have warm /up to temp engines setting off
