Just had a chicken curry sandwich made from last nights left overs.

Wife turned her nose up at it. When I think about some of the odd, but strangely satisfying combinations I used to make as a kid, a curry sandwich is the least peculiar. Always open to new ideas to try though.

One of my highlights at Christmas is a left over sandwich. Stuffing, Salmon, Roast Potato, Greens even a little big of gravy mmmmmmmm.

I discovered through the joys of the internet last night the tuna and noodle sandwich. I might give that a go one day.

I was in a chippy a few years ago & the lad in front of me ordered a meat & potato pie on a barmcakelaugh

Surely the idea of a pie is you can hold the crust & just eat it - you don't need to put it on a butty!

Probably not your thread then to be honest.

I like butties with loads of different stuff on but never 2 runnies as that's just wrong. So spready cheese on one piece of bread, marmite on the other & in the middle some smoked cheese, peppered salami, bit lettuce and some salad cream. Yum yum.

Just eaten my butty the OH made before she cleared off out - ham from the butcher, philly, piccalilli (sp?) and some Extra Crunchy Salt & Malt Vinegar Walkers Crisps. Dam finelaugh

That was our stable school lunch diet. Pie barm and red, or pie barm and brown. mmmm lovely.
