Hi guys,

My T350 will soon be off to Dave the Trimmer and I'm taking the opportunity to change those awful seats.
I'm looking forward to driving it without the constant sqeaking from the passenger seat rubbing against the roll cage!

So question is, what seats fit?
I unerstand the Cobra Imola ones go in ok. Are there any others I should consider?

Second question, has anyone angled their seat so that it aligns correctly with the steering wheel (i.e. towards the right slightly)?

I'm wondering if it can be done with some spacers in the brackets, but I suppose it will depend on te style of seat I go for.

Thanks

Take a look at the classified adds.
Str8six have a couple of sets for sale, one of which he currently has in his Sagaris.

Thanks for that. Pricey aren't they.
There are some Tuscan seats on there too for £1,200.
Do old seats really go for this much?
Is it likely I ould sell my seats once they come out?
It would be great to re-coup some of the costs of the new ones.

There was a set of Tuscan style on eBay for £750 very tatty but as you're recovering that wont matter.

Tuscan seats have always been desirable and therefore expensive.
As for the Sparco seats I believe they are very rare, I fancied them myself but they won't fit my conversion.

Why not try to do a swap with someone? I had read that some prefer the Tamora seat over the Tuscan as they hold you firmer ..... Worth a try.

Thanks for the compliment Steve, laughing points aside I think the Tuscan seats are a bit odd, some find them really supportive yet others like me find them to be useless.
Camb's meet is on Sunday lunchtime are we going to see the orange blur there?

My Cobra seats are for sale. They should fit a T350 as well.

I payed £ 2100.- without the mountings and the 4-point harness. The mountings are custom made special for TVR.

All together would be £ 1600.-

I'm in Switzerland but could send them over to the UK.

Regards
Peter
