Recently bought one of these, impressive piece of kit to look at. I want to find out if I can link the player to my cd player in the tusc. Anyone know if it can be done easily? I was wondering if i would need to change the head unit to a sony one capable of playing ATRAC3plus or will the standard pioneer unit still be ok?

I bought one yesterday and yes they are truly fantastic. I spent most of the morning loading 50 albums on it and am only 20% through the 20gig hard drive

To link to a head unit, you'll either need one that has an audio line in somewhere (two phono sockets)or you can get a gizmo that converts output to an FM frequency (which is not legal in the UK :winkwith a range of about 5m which you can then tune your radio to.

You can get a "legal" FM modulator, it will plug into the aerial socket and the aerial plugs into it. Tune to 88.3 or 88.7 and away you go.
