2005 mondeo tdci 2.0 ghia problem!!

hi everyone im new here im stuart :-)

ive just brought a 2005 tdci , when i push the info button on the stalk it bleeps but doesnt change on the screen so the screen just tells you the temp and not mpg and so on!

is it just the case of a fuse gone ? or maybe the stalk has broke??

any ideas would be great.

It`s had an instrument cluster change and the fuel computer hasn`t been configured.
probably a second hand cluster.

If the write protect function has not been activated on your cluster then you can get it programmed but to be honest it would be cheaper and easier to find a used cluster on Ebay with near enough mileage and the fuel computer function already configured,obviously making sure its a diesel cluster.
