Didn't go.... But I live a mile or so from Chirk castle, so could hear the blasting around.....

Dead right about the traffic!!
Guess you know Mc Donalds near the castle? This was the meeting point for 40 supercars this morning,we decided to take a single farm track to beat the queue you can guess what happened it was a Top Gear moment lol

I did get a chance to leave some rubber on the track and white smoke from my clutch

Gave the spectators something to watch before the real show started.

Remember following it about back in the mid 90's, when they used to go to kielder forest aswell, half a dozen lads in a hired transit, no shower, no satnav, no toilet, no worries What could possibly go wrong..

Not sure I'd fancy taking an AM or anything equally low-slung on some of those service roads in the forest, it used to be utter carnage. Great fun though.

Took me right back Quattro, 6r4,lada, 206,rs200,escorts epic prefer the old days.

There seemed to be more variation in cars back then, I lost a bit of interest in rallying after the first few years of Loeb domination but now there only seems to be a few different manufacturers competing.

Loved all the Group B stuff, Lancia 037 in martini colours for me .

Spent the last 2days in the Forrest above Devils Bridge as safety officer for the Myherin stage. It was great apart from sleeping in the Jeep. Bl@@dy freezing! Spent all day today cleaning the crap off after several runs through the stage. My best time was about 29 mins in 4 wheel drive.....theirs was 18 !!! Should have taken the Aston..not!
