I need help with my Skoda Fabia valve clearances?!
Discussion
Hi all,
I've just changed the head gasket on the fabia, and i can't find the valve clearances anywhere.
I've tried the usual stuff (autodata, carweb etc) and they all say its hydraulic, but it has pushrods etc.
At the moment I have set them so they are just touching the valve, but obviously is isn't correct.
It's drinking petrol, and literally shakes the whole car when ticking over when cold. No performance issues (its not like I have that much power to lose anyway).
Any ideas? is there a basic setting it had when it left the showroom?
Its a 2002 1.4 8v mpi
Help me!

Think they do have a hydraulic tappets but with a compensatory set upon the rocker arms - never done one but sounds easy
