hi gang,

Does having a "quickclear" heated windscreen impact on one's insurance premium?

are you entitled to 2 free windscreens a year like you normally are when your car is equipped with quickclear?

will they replace the "quickclear" windscreen with a quickclear windscreen or a regular windscreen?

thanks,
ed

Comprehensive insurance = glass cover (unless stated otherwise).

The terms and consequences will vary from insurer to insurer and they might even nudge towards their preferred or nominated supplier and this is where you pretty much become a passenger in your own vehicle.

Some of the aftermarket heated screens supplied by some of those repairers aren't anywhere as good as the OEM ones they're copied from, and the fitting company will tell you you're on your own should anything go wrong wrong with it after 12 months.
