Hi All
Looking for a bit of advice after I feel like I've read everything I can find online and still sat unsure where to go.
I'm considering selling my E46 330ci through a work friend and so I'm considering my options for my next car. A position I love and loathe in equal measure!
I do 20 miles of mainly A-road and a bit of motorway to work each day and this will be my only car.
I've been looking at VX220's for the past year, mainly as they seem alot of car for not alot of money and a small sportscar is a scratch I'm keen to scratch whilst I'm young. I'm obviously aware of the foibles, but I keep coming back to them. I'm just not sure about it as a daily driver.
I'm setting my budget around £6-£7k and the only other options I can think of are a ~2003 Boxster S, ~2004 S2000 or a 350z
Boxster I'm worried about the running costs, but think it would be a good compromise between my BMW and the VX220.
S2000 seems middle of the road, but if I'm honest doesn't really excite me.
350z has only just joined the list, but I think it's likely to be more of a cruiser than I'm looking for.
Sorry about the long post, I suppose I'm looking for suggestions of anything I've missed and experience of using any of the cars on a daily basis if possible. Experience of running costs would be useful aswell, as the Boxster especially has a lot of Internet horror stories.
