Final service before warranty expires - check list

Hi All,

My V12V is coming up for its 3rd anniversary and will be going in for its 3rd year service and first MOT before the AM warranty expires.

Is there a checklist of common items/faults that I check for, before it goes in for its 3yr service ?

I've poured over the car myself and only items that I can identify are a rattle from around the flip-up sat display and in car phone microphone not working.

Are you extending the warranty? You could get them to do the 140 point check while doing the service, probably be an hours labour or so, this may highlight anything extra that needs doing.

When my V8V was nearing the end of warranty I took it up to BR and they did a comprehensive check over the complete car. Not just the 140 point check but looking for everything that needed attention, whether under warranty or not. Happy to report that, other than the front cover weeping which is a common issues in the V8s, it was fine.

Not planning to extend the warranty, but will put funds away, should there be any issues to sort. The dealership said that they'll go over the car with a fine tooth-comb and I do trust them to do as much (hopefully I won't be eating my words).
