Yesterday - NEC Classic - Birmingham.

A gang of idiots turn up on the TVR stand and start asking the following questions....
  • "TVR's they break down a lot, right?"
  • "Made of plastic aren't they?"
  • "Are they kit cars?"
Ect Ect.

What a bunch of wa**kers!!!

Oh How We Laughed rofl

I have to say the guy manning the stand stood & fought the TVR corner well while we threw these irritating questions at him, he also took the joke in good spirits when we revealed ourselves to be all avid TVR nuts & owners.

What a great sport thumbup

rofl - you wkers! I bet the poor guy had a day of questions like that, at least you were only having him on.

What is the stand like this year? I went last year and thought as a whole the show was decidedly average but the TVRCC stand was in a league of its own, looked like a manufacturer stand at a motorshow as opposed to a car club stand.

Haha!

I took my Chim to a classic car show once, had the same questions fired at me all day. Some people loved it, others just commented on how they breakdown all the time, others felt like they had to tell me it wasn't a classic car. Very sorry, I won't bother PAYING to bring it along next time!

Exactly the same this year, the TVR stand was very impressive.

The White Elephant, an amazing freshly painted concourse Rosso Pearl Chimaera, Tuscan Challenge chassis, and virtually one of every model all beautifully presented, ect ect ect.

Like you say it looked like a manufacturer's stand at a motor show, actually you could argue it was better than what TVR did themselves back in the mid nineties.

Very impressive indeed, they really didn't need a bunch of idiots like us turning up.

Funny as fu**k all the same laugh

What a great sport that TVR club member was. bow

Unfortunately, most of these individuals can vote as well. Sadly, the country is packed with mindless, mis-informed bell ends that believe everything they are told by the box in the corner. TVR will have the same bell ends spurting nonsense when they eventually start manufacturing again.
