Faulty Digital Readout?

The Oil Temp read-out on the dash keeps reverting to 0 intermittantly...is this kinda 'glitch' common on Tuscan displays? The other day it was actually showing -5 (yes minus 5) for about 10 minutes

I'd certainly think about changing the temp sensor.

Located at rear of dry-sump tank. Accessible with drivers side front wheel off - and if you're quick it can be done without draining oil from tank (apparently) - guess you just need to have all the tools ready!!

Might be worth a spray with contact cleaner on the connection plug first off. They do fail - mine did when it got very wet whilst power washing chassis!
