Video editor and .mov

Hi,
i have just bought a great mobius action cam that records .mov with a PC USB cable in 1080p

Can anyone recommend a good video editor software that can most importantly adjust with brightness, contrast, zoom etc etc ( hopefully free)..

Also what would be the best method to transfer .mov files to iPad......?

Don't know about the software but iTunes would be the normal way to transfer files.

Not sure about zoom but Adobe Premiere Elements 11 will do the rest.
