Does anyone on here own the new Hublot 4000m diver's watch: http://www.hublot.com/en_US/watch/king-power/298/o...

I know the brand has mixed reviews on here, but having seen one at Watches of Switzerland at LHR at a tax-free price it looks a lot of watch for the money....

I did and in fact it looked like a good tool watch and business like, and I have say I do think the Hublot watches have a certain character I like and this is quite a rare piece...

Doubt you'll get much argument there Vlad; also worth noting that your Khan/Mansory etc make a good product, it's just not to everyone's taste, much the same as Hublot wink

not for me, there's to much 'Graham' going on with it as well, just to add another layer of marmite

Vova, your assessment is fairly accurate. I prefer this to most Hublots, but if I really wanted that mega dive rating (and I don't), I'd still take a Rolex Deep Sea and a few other models in preference.
However, I'd just as soon go for a 200 or 300 metre rated watch as I will never dive anyway.

So rather than have this thread descend into the usual Hublot mauling, my original post was asking if anyone on here owned this model watch and what their views on it were.

Any takers on that one?

Thx

It seems that nobody owns one, so the default was offering views. Most people have been fairly positive about this model.

Would you prefer that nobody replies on a website intended for discussion? All views given so far as far as I can tell have been reasonable, and on the whole reasoned.

I see its limited to a run of 1000, if OP purchases one it would be interesting to know what number he would get, 1000/1000 would be cool. With so few being made these will be spread very thinly.

It is actually a very nice watch. I don't know the price, I'm just assuming that it's more than reasonable. At the right price, I would have a look.
Can anybody tell me the price? I just know the prices of alternatives.

The RRP is GBP 16.5K at LHR it was GBP 13K which is a keen price over the high street

It's kind of cool - same ballpark and similar'ish looks would get you the AP Royal Oak Diver.

That gets you the 3120 movement rated by some as the best auto in the world in a very cool and functional case.
