I am not at this Track Day (im out on Monday instead with Mazda on Track).

A very greasy Indy circuit this morning, made for an interesting day !

Somebody span on the sighting lap, another chap managed to roll his red Golf coming out of Paddock ! I think 10 red flags in the first hour and then another drivers briefing was done.

I know the mx5 is slow but some people decided to overtake on clearways...

Good day though once all the more powerful cars had gone past me !

Great day, but some of the driving etiquette was questionable.

Wasn't overly impressed by the Mini's trying to push me onto the greasy side of Paddock, then try to overtake on the right instead of waiting a second or two for me to move over.

Still.... really enjoyed it

Totally agree with that and would expand on the etiquette comment to mention that quite a few of the more powerful cars were failing to move over and lift after getting a blue flag.

I found the Mini's very aggressive, I had to lockup to avoid one as he cut me up on clearways, it was a close call !

They were race-prepped mini's, surely the drivers should know better, I had a novice sticker on the back too (opentrack supplies them)

Good day after the mornings hiccups! I was very happy with my vx220. 140 odd bhp feels like plenty when you have the handling!

Was a good day and were lucky with the weather for early Dec.

Thought the standard of driving wasn't great compared to other opentrack events I've been too and too many cars for the size of the track. Managed to get some good runs in before and after lunch though so was happy with that.

Bring on spring and some warmer weather
