My happy Skyline ownership came to sudden halt when its now new owner fell in love and made me a offer

Always looking at the next car anyhow , fancied one of these for a while and was especially keen to get the HR model with its bulging bonnet and developed engine with the GT pack of leather seats, rays wheels and the BOSE stereo

This time of year being ideal time to buy I quickly found this example an 07 with 54,000 miles on

Its due a service (on calendar) next month but hardly the end of the world compared to a Skyline which pretty much always needs a service and just put some new Mich Super Sports on as the old ones were under 3mm and a bit lairy on the cold wet roads

Performance is pretty close to the 34 but with less fuss due to no turbo , handling and general feeling on the road is very different the 350z feeling surefooted and much more stable , unsurprisingly its a little better on fuel doing 25-26 , insurance is peanuts compared to the Skyline but unfortunately road tax offsets that

Going to live with it for a bit before deciding what to mod.

That 34 looked like a nice lookalike of the Nismo Z-Tune R34.

Well it had the nismo stripes but that's where the similarities ended I'm afraid
