Nice wardens

Was out for meal with family last night in Paparino's on Byres road Parked across road in 9:00 - 18:00 Pay and display bay Outside TSB with Mother in laws Disabled card. Came out of restaurant at 8:00pm and see 3 taxis double parked taxis along side us from taxi rank further up road and 3 wardens just arrived taking interest So walk over and get into car Two wardens start booking two cars behind so I wind window down and ask why Oh this is a Taxi rank after 6pm Blowed if i could see any sign at end where I parked but said thanks and made quick u turn to pick up Mother in law and escape. Expensive mistake avoided by decent warden.

Nah not yesterday were celebrating my Daughters graduation, any other day....... who knows

Since they extended the pavement in front of the underground they've designated this area as a rank. They seem to sit there during the day too if they can get away with it.

A colleague of mine once had to do a pleas for his mother in law in court as she had been done for speeding.

He stood up and said to the Sheriff:

This is a privilege accorded to few men. I am representing my mother in law today. Please bring the full weight of the law down on this woman and show her no mercy.

He then sat down.

The sheriff smiled and give her 3 points and small fine!

where is justice in this world!
