Put this question out there I want to change the horrible black buttons to aluminium ones. Contacted Leven which are just covers. I was looking for a replacement switch does anyone know of a suitable switch that works in aluminium and keeps the car in original looks.

Are they a simple change over or does it require changing the wiring

i changed all mine over but it wasn't straight forward. These had two circuits per switch which change the LED brightness when switch is on. It just took a bit of patience and looking around online for wiring diagrams, i'm by no means an expert on wiring but just took my time

CBS is that the ones in Carbuildersolutions? I was looking at them....do they fit exactly and I'm guessing some terminal connection modifications?

Also anyone know where you can get the aluminium bezels for the gauges?

I am very tempted by some new switches as mine keep doing this which is really annoying:

Do the CBS switches fit in the existing holes. I don't think I could deal with the blue LEDs I assume they can be disabled.

They wouldn't if you used a sensible adhesive like Devcon 2 ton Epoxy to mount the studs to the dash panel winkhttp://www.devcon.com/products/products.cfm?brand=...

Yes they fit the holes bang on.
Try welding the silly hooks on the back of the panel
If you go for CBS you don't nead the cradle on the back and you can mount them FLUSH

Thanks for that advice, I think Araldite was used the last couple of times which lasts between 6 and 12 months. I do not think the heat cycles do it any good as it the dash it to touch when the heaters are on during the winter and freezing cold at night.

That glue certainly looks the part. I will give it one more chance using that glue and if that doesn't work than it will be new switch time as it is a PITA everytime getting the dash out.

Thanks for the confirmation, that is good to know. I will have a look at these if that glue doesn't do the trick.
