Now that winter is almost upon us, I need to get a decent charger for my Odyssey battery.

Can someone recommend one?

I was going to order one from the factory but have a feeling I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Knight do this one.

They were the cheapest I found for the battery itself.

Myself I just use an ordinary charger with an automatic float charge capability.

I got myself an Optimate - got mine from MDS Battery via eBay - tried to post a link but it looks like the Pistonheads script munge eBay addresses somehow. Either search on there for Optimate or look at item #7932432554
Currently £40 including P&P. No connection with MDS etc.

Comes with the usual croc clip lead but also with a little fly lead with ring connectors and a plug so you can fit it to your battery and just plug the charger in when you need it. I leave mine plugged in as the alarm gradually runs the battery down.

Ditto on the Optimate. I've got 3 of them, two on the bikes and one for the Ultima (soon to be Can-Am).

Excellent piece of kit and essential when you're not using a vehicle regularly.

Yep Optimate here too, does a great job.

If you want to see one in the flesh Gary pop over.
