Hi Folks,
Any recommendations? Tow truck coming in 30 mins. No probs up to now. No pressure developed when pumping so can't get into gear. Linkage and fluid all present although I did have to add fluid.
Suggestions and advice welcome and appreciated.

Sorry buddy, only just found your post. Hope you got rescued ok. Maybe could have moved by starting in gear then quick changing the gears rally style, but there is the danger of grating the gearbox. As for the diagnosis, could have got air in the system and a good bleed could cure it, as no great loss of fluid. Others on here will have more ideas I am sure.

If you have the stuff to make brake pipes go for the standard land rover master and slave - you need a smaller diameter pipe (standard brake pipe) with standard brake pipe flares & fittings - which IMHO is far better as if you get stuck any decent garage around the world can fix it.
