I really don't know what came over me while shopping in Tesco's. Let me tell you I am a purchaser of fine sausages, have even been known to make them in the past. So god knows what made me buy not one but two packets of Blue Stripe sausages. Its not that we have fallen on hard times the only thing that's changed at the moment is that I am on a low carb Diet. I have herd that there can be side effects but really I never thought I would stoop so low.

they are in the oven I will report back

I do take into account the rusk content and check the carb % its a low carb diet not non carb. I know I come across as a Tard but some times I can tie my own shoe laces in the morning

I recall buying a load of Richmond sausages over the summer for Carfest, and was gobsmacked that they were only 42% pork! eek

I've done many terrible things sausage related, but I'd rather not be banned from the food and drink forum again. ...

I'm shocked. I've tasted them and that is much higher than I would have thought!

That crap is as much carb as protein (10g of each)!
You should have just got the Finest 97% pork ones, 22.6g protein vs 1.6g carb each, 2x6 for £5:

I just ate a packet with some peas. Guessing 15g carbs.

I usually buy the sainsburrys finest range the Toulouse ones are very low carb as long as you don't mind the garlic breath

As the originator of the meme, I can assure you it does work when it's not done when it's summer, not winter...

Seagulls, hedgehogs, foxes and the like we're the main suspects for the carnage.
