BMW 130 - Thoughts

could you guys please enlighten me on the 130's, main things i should be aware of, service costs etc. I was looking originally at Astra VXR's / Focus ST's. However i really do like the look of the 130 (understated) and the noise apparently is fantastic.

I would be looking at an 06/07 - budget 7k

current car is an Astra 1.8 SRI XP - which is slow / expensive to run / tax!..

Very nice, rear leg room aside the 130 seems to tick every box. Do you have any info on service schedules? I've read the engine is a reliable unit, just the service costs could be eye watering

Your main stumbling block is probably your budget, their is only one in the classifieds that meets the criteria...and that has been repaired from damage. I wanted to consider these in a recent search but just couldn't find any within budget (although mine was slightly less than yours)

There are a few on autotrader, I would love an e46 m3 but the cost involved put a stop to that!
