My thread removed

Dear Mods,

I know you must get a lot of people asking why their threads are removed, so I'm sorry to add to them...

I had a thread "Pistonington Crescent" removed because "we don't allow these types of thread on PH" (according to the e-mail I got).

I don't really want to argue the toss- it's a silly word game thread I started after a couple of glasses of wine, really... - but I don't understand what rule I'd broken. I'd appreciate some feedback just so I don't keep cheesing off the mods, if that's OK?
