Hi guys, just got in the caterham and the clutch was on the floor. I have popped the rubber cover off the bell housing and the ball on the cable has popped out the release arm. As I pulled the rubber off I saw a piece/ strip of iron drop down in to the bell housing. I presume it's a clip of some description to stop the ball popping out.

I am just going to get a magnetic stick as I can see the piece in the bottom off the bell housing.
Does Any one know what this piece is and exactly how it fits.

Thanks

Sounds like the sprung strip that holds the rubber boot in place that has dropped into bellhousing.

Yep, when I got it out it was obvious where it was from.

Thanks

I hope supplies are relenquished. From what I understand the supply chain for att Caterham clutch cables has been interrupted by the closure/insolvency/whatever of their supplier. Was certainly the case 2 months ago.
