4 point harness fixings

Hi Guys

I have popped in from the TVR forums to ask about harness fixings.

I need some 4 point harnesses for my track day TVR.
My roll cage would be the only viable anchorge, but the vertical bar is so close to the seat back that it is actually touching the back of the headrest.
So I need short shoulder straps.
Demon Freaks list a Caterham approved harness.
Where are the anchorages on the Caterham, in terms of inches (I'm an imperial old fart) behind your shoulders please?

About this far.....

I moved the seat back an inch or two from this point. So I think the ones you're planning to buy will be sufficient.

One thing not clear from your question though is that the Caterham ones bolt onto the bulkhead directly behind the seat not wrapped around a cross bar.

My roll cage has welded into it the screw threads that take the standard bolt in eyes.

Good news then, just wanted to check, nothing worse than bits that don't fit turning up in the post.

Have a look at the parts store on the Caterham site, the Luke fia 6 point harnesses are well priced and very good spec.
