I need to pick up someone from Westfield tonight at 9pm. But I don't want to pay to use the car park to do so. Does anybody know if there is a pick up point or somewhere I can stop around there and wait?

Can't find anything on the website.

There are two areas that you could loiter that I know of, I'll do an MS Paint map shortly but there is an area at the train station (Stratford International) that is right next to the Westfield centre and has taxi rank, large turning area, car park and just general area where you could loiter.

Your best bet is to wait somewhere in the red box, thats the area with taxi rank, turning / drop off points etc, but it would be possible, traffic permitting to hang around on the road where the red line is. Its always been dead there traffic-wise when I've been there during the day, but I'd probably not bother with that and just stick with the boxed area.

Hope its of use!

Thanks very useful. I found it on maps i think?

Appreciate the info. Hate paying for car parks when I don't have to.

Yeah thats the spot, you should be safe enough waiting there for a short time. I've been to that station and the shopping centre several times now and that section of road is never busy, so waiting there shouldn't cause any issues. At that time of night it'll likely be just taxis there anyway.

I've just been there today and tried to use that spot. The spot still exists but the sign has changed from the one pictured on Google Maps.

Here's the picture:

It now says only taxis are allowed.
