Minichamps Senna Collection.

EBay is your friend. Expect to pay up to £200 for one with JPS livery. They don't come from the factory with JPS decals. Standard cars are usually around £125. You can buy the kit for about £10 and DIY.

Thanks all for the replies

Had a look at the last link and there is no hyperlink for 1:18 on the John Player Special no.12 Lotus that Senna drove.

What about this one:

Sorry, another question (you can tell I haven't done this before...):

If I purchase the 97t 1:18 minichamps model, it has some patterns where the JPS decals should go - do they just peel off or do the new ones go over the top?

Thanks

The logos will be tampa printed or decals, either can be removed with care. If decals, a damp cocktail stick can be used to carefully scratch them away from the paint. If printed, you can use a cotton stick and some metal polish to very carefully polish the emblem off.

So... placed an order with Grand Prix Legends on the 6th of Dec, now the 18th Dec and they say that the item hasn't been built yet and can't tell me when it will be built...

Lady I spoke to said they have a good relationship with Minichamps, however when I ask if they can find out when the item will be built, they say 'it doesn't work like that, we discuss new models only'. She then said that some customers have been waiting up to 5 years...

Great

Anyone got any ideas where I can purchase this model? I've received stickers but have no model.

Thanks

Thanks, added to watch list. Have seen a few on ebay.de but was looking for brand new. May settle for second hand if it doesn't go up to £200

Very unlikely to be able to buy brand new. Per your findings, they're limited production.

A good condition boxed one from eBay is your best bet. As above, expect to have to pay a premium.
