Help me out party food

I'm having a party and want to cook some interesting food. It will be a drop in affair with the die hard's staying late. A barrel of beer and lots of wine. I want some hot/cold and intact cream carpet at the end. I will of course have a king prawn ring. Can any one suggest what else to serve avoiding fish if possible.
