BMW 2 series or Audi TT or VW Golf GTI

So which one of these three would you go for and why? (The latest TT comes out next year).

I'm not a huge fan of Audi as a lot of the drivers are aholes and a lot of the Audi sales guys are in a completely new league! So for me, the TT is out of it.

I have recently bought a GTD, however, when I first started looking, it was probably petrol so was looking into this a bit.


I test drove a GTI off the back of a M135i. It wasn't as quick, but I just found it a nice place to sit.

I would say your best bet will be drive them as everyone will find them a bit different. If you're after a GTI, lead times are currently 6 months so if you need a car soon, get it on order now.

Personally, if you're not a badge snob, you will be able to get a very nice GTI for the price of the others. Yes, it's still an expensive Golf, but I like it anyway. And FYI, you can get an R for about £3000 more. You get 4 Motion (all wheel drive) and 300PS.

2 series for me as I like the RWD set up & it looks better than the 1 series to my eyes, I think the TT is lovely to look at & a nice place to sit but the driving experience is very forgettable, the golf I wouldn't even consider as I just don't think they seem to offer much for the money in comparision to the rivals.

BMW 2 series for me! As said there's a new TT coming soon and the golf will be nearly as much as the BM but not as special (IMO) oh by the way op your name is way too close to mine
