Yesterday morning I was on my way to Maidstone, and shot past to nip in at the servies (think it's J5 of M20). Nip in to shop.......come out again, and I hear a really nice rumble. Look at the other side of my car......and there's this parking next to me!!!!
NOW....I took a closer look, and yes......it said Carrera GT. I read a thread on the 993 GT on here only a couple of weeks ago, and so it was only because of that, that I knew the truth of what was in front of me!
Waited for the guy to get out, started talking to him. He was on his way down to the Nuurburgring (someone spell that for me please!?!?) for a couple of days with RMA, and there will be along in 10 mins.... 996GT2, 2x964RS, 993RS, 993GT (yes, ANOTHER one!). So, even though it would make me late, I said I'd wait to see them.
10 mins later the owner came back out from the cafe to say to me that the plans had changed and they were now meeting at the Eurotunnel slip road
Such a shame, but was very nice of him to come and tell me (I waiting just for them!).
So.....that really made my day that.....and it was only due to pistonheads that I fully knew what it was! Pics were taken with my phone, so excuse the quality.
