Since having its crunch a couple of weeks ago, the door buttons still work even when the alarm is activated, when you open the doors the alarm goes off still though, so there always seems to be power to them, any ideas?

Had the same thing happen a while back. Turned out to be a corroded connector on the magnetic reed switch in the bottom of the drivers door.

The door/window box wasn't seeing a door shut signal, therefore not disabling the outer buttons.

Have you tried a door control box reset yet?

How do you do that then?
I think the switch might be a good call, as the windows were quite "random".

It's the quickest and easiest thing to try first.

Locate the door/window control box which is on top of the fuel tank on the right hand side.

You will find that there are 4 multiway connectors, you need to disconnect the one with 2 cables on, a red and a black.

Leave for a few minutes then reconnect, be careful when reconnecting as it's easy to push the circuit board inside the box, which will then leave you taking the top of the box to refit correctly

A small tip, is don't do what I did the last time, which was shut the boot with the box unplugged! Also test the boot release when the box is reconnected to make sure it works!

Hope this helps.
